Austin Strategies was founded in 2025 after the Trump Election, with the intention of shifting state races from blue to purple or purple to red. There were two different reasons for the formation. The first was that Democrat-held states have weak GOP organizations and in order to win, would need to reform into an effective fighting force. The second was done with the knowledge that, statistically, the party of the sitting president loses seats in midterm races. These two factors, combined with the desire to organize states' GOP forces, led to Austin Strategies' creation. Austin Strategies focuses on states we deem potential swing states over the next 6 years, laying the groundwork for a Republican-held government.
William Austin is the CEO of Austin Strategies; his stated goal is to form effective grassroots organizations for GOP forces and break down Republican silos across states. He grew up in the Midwest, where he learned the value of hard work and perseverance. William has studied politics, economics, and policy for nearly a decade now.
